Description
Elaines Antique Store in Berlin is closing. This online auction includes Victorian furniture, royalty items, country store display cases, and lots of smalls. Basement selling like a storage locker--one money buys all the treasures.
Terms- Please read the terms carefully as they are a legal binding contract between you and Sterling Auction & Realty Services, LLC. Bidding on an item constitutes acceptance of these terms. All disputes will be settled by arbitration in Portage County, Wisconsin. 13% Buyer's fee. 5.5% sales tax for WI address. Sales tax exemption number must be included if exempt or you will be charged tax. Payment will be taken in the form of cash, check or credit card (4% fee for credit card use). Winning bidders will receive notification of items purchased by email following the close of the auction. Payment to be made at pickup. Pickup times will be by appointment Thursday December 10 and Friday December 11. Any items not picked up will be charged to your credit card along with a $100 late pick-up fee. Shipping is available on smaller items. You must let us know the morning after the auction of your intent to have items shipped. Items will be shipped by US Postal service, be insured regardless of value, and require signature confirmation - no exceptions. Because of our staff's workload at that time and proximity to the Holiday season, you shipments may take 2 weeks. Shipping will be charged to the credit card you have on file with us. Shipping costs will include cost of materials, labor, postage, insurance, & delivery confirmation. Items will be available for inspection on Monday December 7 from 3 - 5:30 PM CST. Everything sells "as is" without warranty or guarantee. The auction will close with a staggered close, meaning one item at a time in order. A soft close will take place on items that have been bid on during the last few minutes of the auction, extending the time on that particular item until no further bidding takes place on that item. Registered Bidder email addresses will be added to our e-newsletter list. You can opt out at any time and we will never sell or give out your information.

Payment will be taken at pickup in the form of cash, check, or credit card (4% fee for credit card use). Items shipped will be charged to your credit card and shipping will be charged to that same card when the items are shipped.
Pickup is scheduled for Thursday December 10 & Friday December 11 by appointment. This allows us to safequard your items and decrease your pickup time. Larger furniture pickup would be best on Friday. Buyer of the basement contents will need to make arrangements for the following week for the contents removal. Shipping is available on smaller items.
